INVITATION to the Concerts MozARTE on Thursday 8 and 15 June at 7 pm, at the Cathedral in downtown Cuernavaca. Tickets are $200 pesos for General admission. Please see details on the attached poster.

Presented by the “Agrupación coral DEO GRACIAS” under the direction of Andrea Carr, acompanied by Luis Arturo Suaste at the piano, with the participation of the instrumentalists: Sandi Schwarz, Oswaldo del Pozo, Luis Ángel Ballesteros, Erick Gutierrez, and Gabriel Vargas.

Soloists: Regina Cué, Gabriela Calvario, Felipe Aguilar and Alberto Watty.

The program includes:

– Motets by Purcell, Bruckner and Jenkins

– Missa brevis in D major KV194 by Mozart

– Choral arrangements of “Les Berceaux” by Fauré and “Beau Soir” by Debussy.

– Latinamerican music, Gospel, a special arrangement of Consuelo Velázquez’ “Bésame mucho”, as well as recent works by además de Eric Whitacre and Randall Stroope.

The Deo Gracias Choir is a mixed choir of experienced choristers, that rehearses regularly at the Community Center at SMAAA with the collaboration of Gabriel Vargas and Andrea Rogel.
