Death Cafés are gatherings where people join together to share in conversations about death. While not bereavement or grief support groups, Death Cafés are an opportunity to respectfully discuss death as a natural part of our lives.
In the Season of Lent, which leads up to Easter and its themes on death and
transcendence, join facilitator Tom Esakin in a confidential and relaxed setting to drink tea, eat cake… and discuss death. Tom has facilitated numerous Death Cafes in Canada and México. He has also designed & instructed in end of life-themed courses at Canadian unis.
Death Cafés are free to attend, however registration is required as participation numbers are limited.
