American Legion and American Benevolent Society to host U.S. Embassy agencies in Cuernavaca as a service to local American Citizens (AmCits).
The embassy’s key Federal Benefits Unit and the American Citizen Services office have scheduled a first-of-its-kind outreach meeting for American Citizens and Mexican dependents in the Cuernavaca area. The meeting is open to the public. Invited by American Legion Post 2, in Mexico City, with the cooperation of the American Benevolent Society, the representatives of Embassy’s federal offices are scheduled for: When: Tuesday, June 6 at 10:30 am Where: St. Michael’s and All Angels’ Episcopalian Parish. Address: The church is at Minerva 7, Colonia Delicias in Cuernavaca. The FBU includes the Social Security Administration, which will explain and answer questions about benefits for AmCits and their spouses, both American and Mexican. The FBU also supports Veterans Administration Benefits and can answer questions for those who were discharged from the uniformed armed services.
